Orientation for Haj Pilgrims begins under guidance of experts in Kashmir

Srinagar, May 21 (ANI): The specific orientation training for Haj pilgrims has begun under the supervision of experts in Kashmir valley. It aims to give the pilgrims proper information and awareness regarding Haj. During the training program, authorities are distributing special pamphlets and experts are giving brief lectures regarding the pilgrimage of Haj. They are informing pilgrims regarding immigration check, visa boarding, lodging, travelling, food, accommodation, currency change and other activities which is needed to perform Haj properly. Both male and female pilgrims are participating in the orientation. This year, limited pilgrims from across the country have been allowed to perform Haj. 5,281 pilgrims have been selected. The annual Haj pilgrimage of 2022 will start from the last week of this month. For the last two years, the annual pilgrimage of Haj was restricted by the Saudi government due to the COVID threat. Saudi government allowed people to perform Haj with proper guidelines this year.
