J-K: Mumkin Scheme provides employment to youths in Pulwama

Pulwama (J&K), May 24 (ANI): The Government Scheme ‘Mumkin’ is helping the educated unemployed youths of Pulwama, J&K. The objective of the Scheme is to uplift, mentor, and provide sustainable livelihood to the youths registered with District Employment and Counselling Centres (DE&CC). The Deputy Commissioner of Pulwama Baseer-ul-Haq Chaudhary distributed vehicles among unemployed beneficiaries under the ‘Mumkin’ Scheme at the District employment and Counseling office in Pulwama. During the event, the DC handed the keys to drivers and beneficiaries who had applied as unemployed youth. ‘Mumkin’ is a livelihood programme designed primarily for unemployed young people between the age of 18 to 35.  This programme is a part of the Mission youth Initiative of the Jammu and Kashmir government. Under the ‘Mumkin’ Scheme, small commercial vehicles are being provided to the youth with reasonable subsidies, enabling them to earn a decent livelihood. The beneficiaries thanked the district administration for providing them opportunities.
