SpionKop - 120th Memorial of The Kop

Description
Video info
What does Liverpool Football Club and KwaZulu Natal, South Africa have in common? The Battle of Spionkop is where LFC gets the name for it's famous supporters stand at their home ground of Anfield. Dignitaries gathered at the top of Spionkop, one of the bloodiest battles of the Boer war to commemorate the fallen men, most of which came from the Liverpool and Lancashire region of the United Kingdom. This 120th memorial was particular poignant with the blessing of a new monument remembering the African Scouts and Indian Ambulance Corps members involved on that fateful day, January 24th 1900.
