Srinagar (J&K), Feb 01 (ANI): Meet 25-year-old Ayesha Aziz- the youngest Kashmiri female pilot in the country. Ayesha procured her student pilot license in the year 2011 at the age of 16 years old, making her the youngest student pilot to get a license. In 2012, she also underwent training to fly a MIG-29 jet at Russia’s Sokul airbase. In 2016, she graduated in aviation from the Bombay Flying Club (BFC), and got her commercial license in 2017. Ayesha begged for her commercial pilot’s license and since then she has also trained at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). At NASA, she underwent training for a Space Shuttle Mission, specifically learning to manoeuvre spacecraft in microgravity, multi-axis training and extra-vehicular activity.  Ayesha says her father is her role model.    She is not just the youngest pilot but a responsible citizen who is giving hope to many Kashmiri women to fly high.
