Description
Video info
Flames of violence engulfed Pakistan as thousands of supporters of a so-called anti-blasphemy party, Tehreek-i-Labbaik Pakistan, wreaked havoc on Pakistani streets. Leading their “Labbaik ya Rasool Allah” slogans, a large number of Islamic radicals blocked highways and rail tracks and clashed with police in different parts of Pakistan in protest against the arrest of their leader “ Saad Hussain Rizvi” ahead of rallies denouncing French cartoons depicting the Prophet Mohammad. It has been agitating since November 2020 for the expulsion of the French ambassador from Pakistan and a ban on all French goods. In Bangladesh too, hard-line Islamists groups like Hefazat - e -Islam are creating chaos with their violent and belligerent actions. Now, several organizations of Bangladeshi freedom fighters living in the US have urged Secretary of State Antony Blinken to designate Hifazat-e-Islam as a terrorist organization. Pakistan continues to face global embarrassment for carrying a tag of a terror-promoting state. In the latest jolt to Pakistan, the United Kingdom in its new amended regulations has added Pakistan to the list of undesirable nations and has categorized it as high-risk countries with unsatisfactory money laundering and terror financing controls. Meanwhile, Indian security forces in Kashmir are on a killing spree. Terrorists in the valley are suffering huge losses with the killing of their commanders. With such successful operations one after another, the entire ecosystem of terrorists across the Kashmir valley has come to a standstill.
