Kashmiri mountaineers felicitated for climbing Mt Everest

Srinagar (J and K), June 17 (ANI): In order to welcome and felicitate mountaineers who climbed Mt Everest, Winter Games Association of J and K hosted grand gathering in Srinagar on June 17. The summiteers included Havaldar Mohammad Iqbal Khan, Havaldar Chander Negi, Mahafooz Ilahi and Team Leader Indian Army Everest Expedition Lt. Colonel Ishwar Singh Thapa from JIMWS (Jawahar Institute of Mountaineering and Winter Sports) based in Pahalgam. Mahafooz Ilahi and Havaldar Mohammad Iqbal Khan had successfully scaled Mount Everest. J and K Sports Council Secretary Nuzhat Gul also felicitated these Mount Everest climbers during the function.
