The National Global Compact Network appeared in Russia 15 years ago. The organisation trains companies on the principles of responsible business and exposes this notion in national, cultural and environmental contexts. To mark the occasion, a round table was held at the UN centre in Moscow to assess the results in the area of sustainable development and to demonstrate the impact of companies on the environment. Today, there are about 80 companies that are permanent members of the national network.
