One of the oldest zoos in Europe, the Moscow Zoo, has welcomed the birth of two members of the even-toed family

This summer, two babies were born in the Moscow Zoo: one to a pair of Sichuan takins and the other to a family of musk oxen. A couple of months later, when the calves became stronger, they were shown to zoo visitors.

Funtik and Lin - that's how they named the young offspring. Now the calves are gradually transitioning from mother's milk to the plant food usual for adults.
